Upgrading PC components

I have just bought a new Mobo,CPU and RAM. I know how to put them in but my question is about software or internally.

I will be using the same SSD and HD. Do I need to reformat them? Will be using the same window 10 OS.

well u dun need to reformat it can just plug and play. but ofc reformat is a good way to make your system and software fresh without all those old drivers in the system.

add on: u can plug and play provided your win 10 is bind to your email account. if it not, im not sure what is the work around.

Windows 10 may ask to be Re-activated.

Might as well do a nice clean reformat.

I don't think need to reactivate windows 10. Cause now is tied to your account. All he got to do is sign in back to his account.

But if he is changing his MB its better to start fresh especially if he is using a different MB, could have some potential driver issue.
