Hi

Dun know how i did a setup of my asustor NAS. And now. everytime i slot in my 2 x disk drive previously set as raid 1 drive into the NAS. it will tell me to setup new drive and data be removed. I stopped here.

I tried suing diskinternals linux reader software to try to read the drive in my window z system connect via sata.

It told me my volume 1 raid 1 mirror is able to recover. But i go in can see the folder but nothing in there...

Can helper ot guide or advice for me to recover the data in the raid 1 drive into my window 7 system? What software or wat way for me to copy the data out?

Now dun dare to slot the drive into the nas before i am able to recover it.

Thank you.

Before you do anything, better to do a image copy of your drive.

If it is Raid 1, you should be able to read from one of the working disk.

if im not mistaken, you can rebuild it using another new blank hard drive with your 2 nas bay. then recover
