USA Taketours? Tours4Fun?

Hi all! I'll be travelling with my family to US for the first time next month and we are thinking of booking a land tour to cover DC and NY from Boston. Has anyone travelled with TakeTours or Tours4Fun before? Any comments? Suggestions?

hi, i would suggest to go through tripadvisors and read reviews. i wanted to do taketours/tours4fun, but it seems like some of the tours maybe out sourced, and there aren't much reviews on the website as well. hope this helps!

I've signed up for a few short tours around USA with them and find them quite ok. Recommended to my friend last year for a Niagara falls tour from NYC and he also was quite happy.

These tours are excellent value considering the type of hotels they use. Do note that both Taketours and Tours4fun are booking agencies and the tours are operated by different companies, mainly Chinese, so standards may vary from tour to tour. Also, if you don't speak or understand Chinese, it may be difficult to understand the guides who are sometimes not too fluent in English.
