USB 3 PCI-E

Hi all, any idea where I can get a USB 3 PCI-E adapter from SLS? Also, any brands to recommend? The Etron controller on my Z68 doesn't even work properly on my computer

Yup, tried that driver already, but then it has another problem: Whenever I restart my computer my USB devices can no longer be detected (will have the exclamation mark in Device Manager).

The funny thing is when I connect to the USB 3.0 header on my motherboard, I have no issues at all. It's only when using the two ports on the motherboard itself then I'm having trouble.

Any idea?

Yup, checked already. Upon more testing, it seems that the rear USB ports act sporadically -- sometimes it works perfectly fine.

Really strange man.

Wonder if it's a software or connection issue?

BTW where can I buy a PCIE to USB3 card in SLS?

Mmm... could really be the controller acting oddly... Etron's known for problems...

Those reputable stores do sell them...

Any idea what brand is good to get?

I think perhaps the rear USB controller is faulty. The one on the header runs on another hub, though still Etron

Mega disappointed. Bought a Orico PCI-E card from Chamoxa today, but it doesn't work at all. My computer started hanging, and transfers dropped to 0 bytes after a while. The front header doesn't detect my drive as well.

Any idea what brand should I buy?

Any idea which shop I can buy it from? Seems like such cards are getting rare as more and more people have Intel USB 3.0 on their computers...

I know Chamoxa has one with a NEC chipset (and half the price) but I didn't buy cos I gian the 2 port header. Regretting now. Haha.

Anyway now I probably have about $50 of credit with Chamoxa. Anyone need anything from there? Haha. Just give me a PM
