USB hub recommendations for notebooks?

My laptop currently has a single USB 3.0 port which I use for a mouse when I am at home, but that has left me needing to unplug it whenever I want to switch over to my EXT HDDs. This has all been fine initially, but now it is simply a hassle due to my laziness.

Since I am unfamiliar with USB hubs and the like, I am hoping that members here are willing to recommend me a reliable one that isn't overly pricey. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the recommendation. I've been looking at the stats for both the Hub2 & Hub3, and I am unable to tell what the difference is. Can you offer some insight?

Hub2 is non-powered.
Hub3 is powered. Some of the usb devices require more power. Or when pplug in multiple devices especially with a external hdd, advise to use a powered hub else data lost. I had corrupted and kaput a 1 TB drive because of using non-powered hub with multiple devices.
