USB port not detected

hi guys,recently I've installed my intel SSD 240gb 530 series on my Asus K4 series.I've cloned it with Acronis True Image 2014 with my previous 500gb HDD.It works great.After few days,my all usb port can't detect my mouse(Microsoft) and I can confirm it works with my other laptop.

I've tried google with >Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus controller and uninstall all Generic USB hub,USB Root Hub,Intel(R) 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset but to no available.Tried installing the drivers through asus official website but still can't detect my usb.Reformat using recovery still haven't solve yet.

Any suggestions?I think could be hardware failure.

Which motherboard model are you using?

1.Bios version?
2.Can you show me device manager?

Try clean install on the Intel 530 SSD?

Anyway,I tried sending my laptop to Simlim at PC Dreams,
that guy serving said that my motherboard spoilt,he quoted me $200.
I feel like chop carrot and then walk off with my laptop.Any advice guys?

it cannot detect mouse only? or other device can detect. if only mouse then use a different mouse?

try using ubuntu live cd to see if mouse work? if it works try installing touchpad drivers

not only mouse,other usb devices when plugging in like ex hardisk etc...

even in safe mode still can't detect....

didn't read tat u tried reformat via recovery earlier -sry.
how abt, off laptop, remove power cord & battery, then hold down power button for awhile...

no different.tried that 10x i think...

u can try confirming outside of windows, eg in bios, or boot with ubuntu, puppy or other linux livecd/usb if the usb works.

if still can't, shd be hardware problem quite cfm.

can you try updating the bios? ( assuming its not the latest)

if that does not work, the motherboard might be damaged, and you will need to send in for replacement
