Using Pages on Ipad and Mac Mini

Hi Guys,
I need a favour and advice
Im toying with the idea of either getting an Ipad or Mac Mini. The main purpose is for the use of running the app "pages". Couple of questions:

a) Does the program Pages run similarly in either Mac Mini or Ipad? For example, is the Ipad version a scaled down version of the Pages program. Maybe some features not available.

b) Can the Mac Mini handle the editing work to be done in Pages? Scared it will be too slow.

c) From anyone experienced using Pages, Is it a hassle to use Pages in Ipad considering we are more used to using a mouse when it comes to design and editing works.

You can easily start a document in the Mac version of Pages and continue on the IPad version without much issue. Granted that the iPad version would be touch-centric so all the controls layouts would be different. The core features would be there. I am not a hardcore user but I noticed two major limitations on the iPad version which is that it is limited to a font choice of about 57 font types and that you do not have 3d charts on the iPad.

Mac mini despite their physical size are actually very capable machine, the new ones can be powered by a fast i7 CPU. Besides Pages is not a very CPU intensive type application so you do not need to worry about speed in that respect.

It is not too much of a hassle using the iPad version but of course the screen real estate is smaller especially when you bring up the virtual keyboard and for me, I cannot do a full 10 finger typing but resort to a 2 finger typing method which isn't all bad. Besides I am not a real typist after all.
