Hi, I'm about to put in an empty nvme ssd that I formatted from my macbook air (ExFAT) to a desktop. Will install Windows 10 via a usb boot drive. Do I need a wired keyboard and mouse to access the bios and run the installation, or will a wireless (with usb dongle) keyboard and mouse work out of the box, without access to Windows yet? Thanks.

Is your wireless mouse/keyboard using Bluetooth? From what I recall some Bluetooth mouse and keyboards won't work in bios but not all.

Er the answer to this is 50-50. Some wireless will work, others wont. E.g logitech will work but philip will not. This is to access bios. If u are talking about during windows installation process, all wireless will work.

Yes, if older motherboard. BIOS does not support mouse/keyboard from USB port and hence will not work on wireless type too.
Even on newer BIOS, some are default to no USB mouse/keyboard. So you still need to use a PS2 keybaord to have the option changed.
