Alright there is a new model of VAVA UST projector. The model is VAVA Chroma and it has an upgraded ALPD 4.0 laser engine. They started a Indiegogo campaign and expected to ship from November onwards.

What are the differences from the Wemax one pro?
Firstly, this ALPD4.0 VAVA Chroma UST projector has triple laser instead of one laser, that is red, green and blue. Most UST projectors use one laser and requires a color wheel to create red, green and blue. With independent RGB laser, the color gamut is much wider, more vivid and gets better contrast. They claimed this VAVA Chroma has 106% of Rec. 2020, HDR10 and motion estimation and motion compensation (MEMC). Overall, it is a upgrade for my existing Wemax one pro.

I placed the order through indiegogo and shipping to US forwarder. The warranty should be 24 momths.

Holy moly, my VAVA Chroma UST projector has finally reach here. It is time for the unboxing! I should be the first in SG to receive this projector.

Vava had their prelaunch price $2800USD inclusive of 100" ALR screen from Indiegogo, I have already received mine. This projector is really bright and vivid even in daylight with ALR screen.

T1 better get global edition. Else u need to tweak. Go read AVS forum.

I have XM C2 and China T1. I am using the C2 more cuz Dolby Vision on it needs no tweaking.
