Hi,

I recently purchased a new laptop from IT show. It has a gtx 1070 video card in it. the OS was windows home. Since I didn't like that OS version, I reformatted the machine and installed a Windows Pro 64bit version. Now the problem is, that graphics card doesn't show up in the device manager that's why the nvidia driver installation cannot continue. How to fix this?
so far these were the things I did to fix it but failed.
- used microsoft media creation tool to update the windows
- fresh install a windows again

I cannot remove the battery for now because it will destroy the warranty. the battery is inside the casing of the laptop unlike other laptops.

So how? šŸ˜“

There could be two reasons for this:

1) MS updates installing the driver for you.
The only way to resolve is this is a clean install.
But no internet access so the OS will not install the driver for you.

2) Like in the above post, you need to install the Graphic driver
from the manufacturer site first than the Nvidia driver.
Most laptop with Nvidia graphic usually have Optimus.
Try not to get from Intel site as that one is generic driver which
means certain function may not have.
