VISA overseas transaction fees

I think no way to Get around it bro - this how they make money. You could try calling to see if they have any travel promo before you go maybe

Use something like a YouTrip card and pay SGD5 per withdrawal, no matter the amount though limited by the ATM so if you take out SGD200 then it comes to 2.5% etc.

Withdrew using youtrip in Taiwan. Rate is good, no local bank charge, only $5 youtrip withdrawal fee.
