So I got myself a 6 months Work Holiday Visa in New Zealand and am thinking of hopefully doing a daily vlog (lezbereal... it'll prolly be a weekly vlog) just to let le familia and muchachos keep up with my wellbeing (or just being nosey at my life).
Here's the issue, should I get myself a camcorder, digicam or a normal point & shoot? I've no experience in video recording/editing whatsoever but I've a Nikon D3000 which I ditched ever since I joined the dark side and got myself an iPhone 6. With digicams, I've had a Sony and Panasonic and liked them both.
A friend who has his own wedding video company suggested the Canon 70D but I'll have to get an extra rode mic. Another friend recommended either a GoPro or a Sony Alpha series.
Unfortunately, a GoPro is just an action camera and I will use mine only for outdoor activities like glacier hiking or kayaking etc. I'm still adamant about getting another solid camera with good audio for daily vids. But there's DJI which looks awesome, bt I don't know about the audio quality.
What say ye?
