Vocational Assessment for Commando Formation

My nephew received a letter asking him to go to Hendon Camp for further vocational assessment on suitability and fitness level for enlistment to Commandos Formation

He has high myopia and normally only gets Bronze for Nafa Test.

Did they make a mistake ?

And the assessment is on a school day so need to skip school for that.

What's consider high myopia to you? Obviously not high enough for them not to ask him to go for assessment?

Fitness can be trained.

Anyway it's only an assessment, not an enlistment notice.
