voice control activated accidentally and cannot cancel?

anyone kanna this?
I kanna this a few times, and cannot cancel..press centre button, power off switch volume nor screen..

damn malu cos the phone speak so loud in voice control mode..

after a while, then can press centre button to go back to home screen...

Totally agree! Is there a way to switch the voice control off? Can be very irritating at times.

In iOS 7.1.2: General > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut set to "Off". Does it do the trick?
