Express VPN works. Just have to figure out the server. So far: LA 2 is doing a good job.

u can use this host
psiphon3 was free.

IOS can use greenvpn, arkvpn, Netpas and fastcat vpn
all have limited free daily access.

I don't think you can use free vpn in China because they have upgraded their GFW and blocking VPN services. better to use paid service that can help you to bypass geo-restrictions in China. ExpressVPN and NordVPN working fine in China till now.

Yes, Self created VPN works, as long as the SG fibre broadband is stable. and your China Hotel's Internet is working well.
