the woman killed in hilton hotel driveway by the porsche driven by valet which went out of control for no reason also happened on same day 4/11 in 1992. some people say she died on the same spot. i wonder if the time was the same. the ST report is in NLB archive. anyone wants to go dig it out to check the time she got killed?

If I remember correctly...after the wedding reception at the ballroom, the couple adjourned to the room upstairs. Then the hubby decided to go for a smoke at the exit staircase.

Unbeknownst to him, for security purposes, the exist staircase door cannot be opened from inside the staircase and he found himself trapped. Then he tried to climb out of the staircase window and tragically fell down to his death.

As for the wife committing suicide...this part I'm not aware. RIP to both...at least they are reunited in Heaven.

‘He was a bit high, but definitely not drunk. He was a very good drinker.’

Friends said Mr Leong was a regular at pubs along Boat Quay, but rarely got drunk.

this is bizarre ….. what happen in between…. This happened in 2009
yes some years back
i remember (hazy) there was a photo of a corridor...with a floor hatch open
maintenance crew didn't cordon off properly and he fell into that. I remembered seeing it detail but now like cannot find the articles

"The couple had a suite on the 10th floor of the hotel. After the dinner, they adjourned to the room with a few friends where they had more drinks and continued the celebration.

Friends contacted later said the mood that night was merry.

After everyone had left, Ms Peh took a shower. But after she emerged from the bathroom, she discovered that her husband was not in the room and raised the alarm.

Security cameras showed Mr Leong leaving the room clad in shorts and a T-shirt at about 3am and rushing barefoot through the hotel’s second floor.

Minutes later, he was dead, having fallen from a height and landing on the hotel’s driveway.

No other details have emerged."
