Looking for washing machine recommendations for washing machine as my 10 year old washing machine refused to turn on. Decided to have a new one and planning to use climate voucher.

Any recommendations based on experience?

Thanks.

Hi was at Giant Tampines and saw the Midea 4 ticks 10.5kg washer only going around $699. I am considering this due to the price point .

China recommend only buy top drainage but I see SG model all bottom drainage. Maybe China more high tech?

sorry to hijack this thread,

am using a bosh washing machine and dryer stack on top of each other, since 2012

call the service to come to replace plug for dryer and change door lock and shock absorber for washing machine,

now the washing machine shake too much during spinning cycle some times and maybe need to buy new one as service guy say if it happens again, recommend to buy a new one as quite old already,

friend just bought house and bought panasonic washing machine, care+ series

went down to best denki to check and the panasonic is japan technology and not made in japan,

then the staff recommend miele and was inform by the sale guy that miele can extend from 1+1 to add 8 more year of warranty, but directly purchase from miele itself,

then ask my friend again and they suggested bosch but since bosch increase too much to like 4000 for series 8, model i bought in 2012 was series 8 but it was old 1500 for washing machine and 1000 for dryer,

can anyone share their experience / advice about the above,

should i go with miele or stick with bosch and maybe no need to go with series 8 which is germany made and buy a cheaper one and if spoilt then buy a new one as washing machines no need to last that long, maybe 5 years is enough

thanks in advance for anyone who take time to read and reply

Hi,
Dun think Miele and Pana belonged to the same class to compare, probably even some bosch models as well.

certain miele oven models costed more than some pple's kitchen reno.

My Bosch washer also broke down due to the door lock.

Repair cost is not making sense. I managed to improvise with a string and sold it on Carousell.

I bought a new LG washer upon recommendation from a repair guy.

For your case, there should be warranty for the repair ? Shaking probably due to unbalance ? Can be washing machine or load inside.

the shaking due to unbalance is like 3 years ago which is 9 years, over the warranty period,

anyway went to buy the series 6 10kg washer and 9kg dryer and delivering this week,

i think i will stick to bosch for washing machine and dryer and also bought 5 years extended warranty
