well according to my friend who's done her research
she says it's the best time of the entire year weather wise. Low chance of rain, not too hot, not too cold, maybe just slightly chilly...also depends on where you go though

Ur taiwan friends said that maybe for weather. But if u see like sakura bloom, it will be late jan till late march. April, maybe some other flowers. And depends on what is ur intent as well.

went early april this year but it was a bummer- drizzling all the time, missed the sakura blossoms. every local we met said we should have went earlier, feb-march....

Yes location based. Cannot speak for all and no best time. Just heng or sway lor. When i went to their offshore for 3d2n, first day arrived abt 4 by plane can see great sunset, second day cloudy. Last day departure, then sun sent me off. So more or less by luck.

To TS, instead of just plain weather, how abt looking if there is any special festive season in Oct? You may just bump into one.
