Weather in Sept

Hi guys

Planning to go Taiwan from 31 Aug to 08 Sep. Understand that July to Oct is prone to Typhoon, any advises on which places I should try to avoid? E.g Mountainous areas.

Still can't decide where to go other than Taipei.

Options
1) MiaoLi, HsinChu, Taipei
2) Hualien, Yilan, Taipei

Any other suggestions?

I'm open for all suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Hualien yilan then taipei..weather is heng suay..why not later in sept instead?

I booked the tickets already... So bobian.
Hualien and Yilan got anything to recommend? Hopefully more shopping. Haha
