I have no idea which sub forum to ask regarding webcams hence assume this is the closest.

I am looking for a value for money webcam that is reliable and portable, but not exceeding $80.

Requirements
1. wider angle or at least not too tight because want to capture 2 pax if possible.

2. 720p is fine but must be sharp enough quality. Not too pixelated.

3. Able to auto focus correctly.

4. Able to auto adjust shadows n highlights, without too much grains/noise/discolouration.

5. Portable, lightweight and easy to setup.

There are a lot of webcams below the $80 range with 1080p.

Xiaomi Youpin Xiaovv Webcam 1080p- $20++
Xiaomi IMIlab webcam 1080p- $30++
Rapoo C260 Webcam 1080p, 5 megapixel unlike the rest which use 2 megapixel - $36++
Redragon GW8000 Webcam 1080p - $60++

To change settings for these webcams you need to use OBS. However, the webcam auto selection is sufficient for most usage already.

Logitech C615 HD is also 1080p but if you look at the prices of the chinese webcams they are quite competitive with their offering and are recent release too. C615 HD is a 2016 model by the way but still popular because of its branding.

Challenger selling at 79. After discount 75. I might get this though since all my computer peripherals are logitech. Can it autofocus well? Is the backlight or shadow correction effective? How's the sound quality of microphone?

Still considering the China ones which are significantly cheaper but dunno whether reliable.

I got the logitech c922 at $140. Although it is above your budget, the camera specs are really good.

I'm using this one too; quite content with the video.
Audio pick-up isn't too good, but I'm not complaining for that cost.
Wow... Very honoured that Sir u come into my thread...

I think i will rather support local Creative than xiaomi to be honest. Shortly will read reviews. Sound quality if decent enough i will accept.. If towards poor quality, then really can't compromise on that. Thanks for sharing btw.
