Apart from the usual retail stores (e.g. Goldheart, Tianpo), are there any good places online to buy jewellery sets as part of the wedding gift which groom gives the bride? I'm quite new to this but I heard it's expected so currently trying to find out more about the set but I believe it's necklace, bracelet and earrings.

Ya traditionally it is call the "Si Dian Jin". But best is to discuss with the bride parents first if they require a 4-jewellery gift set or a dragon-phonix bangle (long feng zuo).

If not later like me, bought the Si Dian Jin already, end up my gf mum say they would prefer a dragon-phoenix bangle. Insist that malaysia chinese custom is like that.. so end up lan lan suck thumb have to top up another bangle.. *faint*

LOL the missus already said want the 4 piece set (and that apparently this is cheaper than what some of her friends got?) so I'm sticking with that. Challenge is I don't really want to spend an exorbitant amount on something which she won't wear and will sit at home anyway in the safe (that, and I spent a ridiculous amount on the proposal ring anyway).

Any other suggestions for where to shop?

Would anyone recommend buying online or if it's cheaper to buy in Malaysia?

You can also try eClarity to look for your bridal jewellery, they specialized in wedding jewellery… but if I am not wrong their designs are like the modern type with diamonds and white gold. You can always enquire
