weekdays in BKK

hi guys

due to some circumstances, i am flying to bkk from mon-fri. realized that a lot of markets only open on weekends so now im kinda worried. anything for the weekday goer like me?

are there any recommended day trip options out of BKK as well that might be worth a visit? don't mind off the beaten track kinds.

Can go shopping malls like platinum mall, centralworld, big c etc ...

1. damnoen saduak floating market
2. maeklong railway market
3. chinatown sampeng lane
4. pratunam market
5. siam square night market

and of course the usual platinum mall, mbk, siam paragon, siam square etc

Just that ull miss out on CTC weekends.
Full shops open during weekends nia.

other than shopping is there anything worth to sight-see or do within a day trip or so away? i probably won't head into any malls though since i think a mall is the same thing no matter where you go just maybe the people inside different only.

like mentioned earlier, the floating market and railway market is worth a visit, if you've never been there before
for other day trips, you can look at the threads in this forum

malls are definitely not the same everywhere
at least one of the malls in bangkok has a 4D cinema, maybe you can catch a movie there too
there used to be a lamborghini showroom in siam paragon but i'm not sure it's still there
one of the ways to know how the people in the city live is to actually visit the malls
