The 52-year-old was admitted to the hospital with searing stomach pains, and her X-ray showed she had consumed 78 forks and spoons which were clanking around inside her.
She underwent emergency surgery and, not surprisingly, doctors suggested she might be mentally unwell.
"She seems to have been suffering from some sort of obsession and every time she sat down for a meal she would ignore the food and eat the cutlery," one doctor said.
