I've a fully functional used HP company Presario V3500 laptop, wondering how much I could sell it for.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 TK-57 1.90GHz
150GB HDD
2GB RAM
NVidia Geforce 7150M/ nForce 630M
14.1" Display
Battery life 3-4 hrs
Windows Vista
some small scratches and also some loose cover at the bottom.

Got valued with the CEE 2016 trade in at $10 lol, surely it's worth a bit more?

Where are places to get better deals for trading in old electronics like laptop, consoles, phones and camera?

I know the HWZ marketplace & Carousell can sell at a better price, but are there shops that can offer similar or better rates?

Just a tip, if you want best value.
Every two years trade in for the best price when buying a new laptop.
HP company Presario V3500 laptop is more than 7 years old, unfortunately it isn't
worth it anymore.
If anyone willing to take it in at $10 or below $100.
The parts are unusable in today's application, at the most
they used it as spare parts.

So trading in models that are 2 Years old will get the most value and any thing more are gonna devalue fast the longer they are kept?

Unfortunately yes, technology are rapidly changing so as
their value drops very fast.
That is why most companies change IT hardware within a
three year window to ensure that assets still pose some
value before changing them.

My old IBM ThinkPad x60 is selling for USD47 at eBay. How much do you think yours is worth? You be lucky not to pay the garage guni man to take the junk.
