For me the idea of optical zoom is good.
But the image quality is bad on my Xperia 1v.

I like sim card can be remove without any pin.

How I wish they can sell 512gb version instead of 256gb and e sim available .

For me it's the only flagship with notchless screen and expandable SD Card.

Agree and want the dual E-SIM & Physical SIM 512GB Variant

The dual physical SIM a bit redundant since you can't use the 2nd SIM without sacrificing your SD card slot

Plus nobody in Singapore seems to really own one.

For me a long story

- Basically it is the easiest to use compared to other Android phones
- it is also much easier to do than eating fruits
- They have almost zero hardware failure compared to other Android phones I use
- Workmanship is also very good like jewelry
- Their display very natural to my eyes, not too flashy, just pure colours
- Flagship in such a slim profile very appealing
- Black technology inside
- Battery management very good and increase longevity of the battery
- Blend well with 1000x headphones
- Bring best technology into the compact size is not easy, support their technology progression (although sacrifice 4k display is a letdown)

What I like and Sony need to bring back those
- 4k display
- Bring in classic playstation games
- Dynamic vibration system
- 3.5mm headphones jack (I know they have, please retain, remember they drop this before and lose its identity and bring it back is a best decision)
- At least 512gb storage plus micro SD

Their only strengths lies in the deep integration with their hardware and software, which was the apple standard.

xperia z3 eons ago was a head turner.

now , meh

their 3.5mm and screen / design is what i would love, but not the slap on another branding and say its a upgrade.

their camera software, and the Walkman app , is still tried and true, but is slowly being copied, tweaked for the better

and anything related to apps, is purely android and manufactorer's fault [ samsung, xiao mi etc]

with their poor track record on their earphones [ xm3 user to xm5] , and their other non mainstream news [ playstion ]

they dont justify the pricing for what they are asking and providing.

if they can punch back their own origin of what defines Sony Xperia, with proper integration from their other department branch and allow full on head to head comparison with other devices, you can be sure i will be willing to get back just for old times sake.

alas, throughout the years.. i dont need to bring up, its been bad .

before anyone says im just pulling out from air :
