i want to buy a i7-4790k

last time amazon got sell (by amazon.com) but now only selling from other sellers so i don't really trust them... so i went to search and found microcenter. what do you guys think of this website? is it trustable?

also what do you guys think of ezbuy vs com gateway for the forwarding? (microcenter ships within the US only...)

Microcenter has the i7-4790K on sale at USD279.99. After factoring in GST and shipping, its about SGD470. Makes more sense to buy second-hand i7-4790K or go for a new i7-7700K.

nvm sorry didnt see that microcenter only available for in store pick up... thinking of using this processor and mobo for the next 5-10 years so thought brand new first hand one better, and i also don't wanna upgrade to skylake or kabylake because i still want windows 7 hahaha

Not sure if you have already gotten the motherboard.

Days ago a Xeon E3 Skylake 4C8T + Local warranty compatible motherboard topped out at $440-450. Chip from amazon fssg. Now it is still attainable at 450-460.

Also works with consumer kabylake chips but your topup for the 7700 will set it at about $480-490.

yea i already have the mobo, but can sic amazon link? thanks
