I need to get a HDD to backup all my stuff on a regular basis. Maybe 1TB should be good enough.
I see so many different brands and models by WD, Seagate etc. Different prices for the same capacity. What's the difference? I do not care about the size - 3.5" or 2.5" makes no difference to me.
Is it better to buy an all-in-one HD or to buy an enclosure and put my chosen HD inside it?
If I buy an all-in-one, do any of these come with software which I can use to keep certain folders in sync?
If I buy an enclosure then are there software I can use to do the same as above?
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
