On the contrary I'm past 30 and very gainfully employed I don't think I need the Internet, especially not EDMW to define who I am, or to have a meaningful life.

I just don't think some broken-record type of crap posted by the same types of posters in every thread I go to, with the same type of bile and egotistical antagonism everywhere, is necessary. And its EDMW, I don't need or expect any intellectual content. I just don't expect this place to be a cesspool. An example of a thread which I thoroughly enjoyed reading is the "most happening incidents during NS" thread. Any other thread I go into just devolves into <you're stupid/kumgong/70%/30%/10k salary/20k savings/you voted for this/miw/pappy/oppo/you are ib>, it just gets tiresome.
