the limeligt shouldn't be on the opposition at all. they are not the gov with access to the cooperation of all ministries, they too do not have access to endless financial support and more importantly, they are not the ones with the power to enact laws that directly affect all the citizens.
Putting and pitting the gov on the same scale is absurd and ridiculous.
The government is the one managing and setting up legislated laws that would shape the society and affects all thise living here, the limelight has to be on the government, to accesss and to judge them whether they are doing a good job and if they are working for the good of all citizens, not on the alternate parties.
One should ask, has the gov does a good job for the past 5 years, or all they going downhill ans destroying what we have painstakingly built up so far? Retaining the bunch of incompetant individuals to be the leaders who will be bringing the nation down, is that the wise thing to do?
Lets us not be fooled by the "track records" koyok that they are always trying to sell as most of them before coming into politics has zilch political track record. Even the one with the most years of political experience lhl b4 becumming the head has made unbearable amt of horrible decisions.
Let the limelight refocus on the ones who deserves it most, the gov. This is the time that citizens especially singaporeans rate their 5 years performances.
