You all most be damn cooling aircon room sia.

My OC 5930K @ 1.257V idle at upper 40s sia.

likewise.. i look at other people's temp i'm like :eek:

i5-3450 3 years rig, just changed from intel stock cooler to deepcool gammaxx 400. non-aircon room. core temp (using hwmonitor), from max 70 min 50 to max 58-60 min 40+. still seems a bit high but i think it's ok..?:s22:

gpu temp now goes up to 50C max though most of the time, even though i'm just watching videos/surfing the web.. is it alright?

Wahlao, SG Leh. Ambient temp non aircon 30+ on a warm day, then put inside casing some more. Less than 50 can alr lah. Worry so much about your CPU no point, should care more about GPU.

I'm willing to bet that you can run an Intel CPU at 95 deg 24/7 for 3 years, but definitely not for a GTX or Radeon at the same temp for same duration

My room temp is around 31 degrees. Funny thing is that the air inside my case is cooler than my room ambient temp. Its showing my case temp as around 28.
My 4690k idle around 37-38. If aircon on at 24 my idle drops to about 31-32.

That's not just strange, it defies physics unless you're on liquid nitro or something... or using Sanyo airconditioned chassis. Heheh. What app are you using to show case temp? Possible sensor error?

About 33 to 37 on idle. Haswell has a low power state which allows it to idle at minimal voltage. Lowest I have seen is 0.016 V. Didn't manage to get a screen-shot though. Here's one at 0.024 V.

Edit: managed to get the SS

Current room ambient 31deg.

Here is on Noctua NH-U12S + 2x Noctua NF-F12 1500rpm fans

On OC 4.5ghz at 1.226v

Idle temps with fans running a mere 890rpms

Yeah. I know why already. Cuz my room temp sensor is at the window. So in the afternoon its temp is higher than the temp inside my room.

Gremlins. :)

I took another SS and it is fine this time.

Only the rear case exhaust fan is connected to the MB, and it is using a voltage modifier. All the rest of my fans, including the CPU fan, are connected to a fan controller.
