Whatsapp having backup issue?

been having problem with Whatsapp backup for almost a week.

searched online, and it seems the only reddit is discussing this issue.q

the backup doesn't complete the process and my last proper backup saved in GDrive was in early Dec, which i had deleted.

i thought there was some issue with the backup in GDrive, hence deleted it. but the problem still persist.

every restart of the backup on the apps, will increase the backup file.

currently using Huawei mate 20x.

if anyone is having this issue, do not try to delete the backup from GDrive.

Same here, it doesn't auto daily backup.
I have to manualy backup now and then...

mine works .. but last week the backup keep stuck at 99 % .. tried last night manual backup works fine .. also never seen anymore autoback stuck now

thanks guys. mine managed to backup after using mobile data.

will monitor the backup for next week.

there's an issue with iOS 6.2 according to online discussion. you will have to close and open whatsapp a few times and click backup now to fix it.

my backup got stuck again this morning. not sure if its the bridge wifi?

i used my mobile data and it was backup successfully.

will try to stay connect to the main router and monitor next week.

Seems to be an issue with the later versions of iOS from what I'm seeing. Have to manually back up.

I'm on latest version of IOS 15 though.

sometime it jus dun backup... then I also realize sometimes like I started some conversations outside (data) and no reply but then when reached home then all the replies (wifi) come in late

Dunno is my starhub (data) or the watapps problem

That one I’m not sure. The sites I’ve been looking at seems to suggest an iOS issue.

At this point, I think I’ll just back up through iCloud instead of WhatsApp. At least that one I know will always backup.
