Gurus need your help on this that happened last night.
My system specs on the right. It's a new setup, just built it last month.
Prior to last night's crash I was able to play BF V, GTA Online and CS Go with absolutely no problems at all.
However, after being prompted by Nvidia GeForce experience to update my graphics card drivers to version 417.71, I did so and shut down my pc thereafter. Didn't touch it after that.
Last night when I tried to play GTA online, it crashed with that bsod error. Same thing happened when I tried BF V. The BOSD would occur once the maps are loaded and you spawn.
The strange thing is it doesn't happen on CS Go. I was able to play CS Go normally. Likewise for FM 19.
My BIOS and all other drivers are updated. Windows 10 updated as well.
I have not overclocked my system (at least not yet) so everything is at stock speed.
Googling for this points to either faulty hardware or driver issue. I'm inclined to think that it is the Nvidia driver as this happened after I updated the driver to version 417.7. My PC was running fine on all games prior to this.
I tried reinstalling the Nvidia driver and also rolling back to the earlier version before I started having this problem, but the crashes persist on BF V and GTA. No issues on CS GO and FM 19.
Appreciate if anybody can help. Thanks!
