When do they refund excess CPF VC?

Let say due to own miscalculation, i put in too much VC at the beginning of the year and by June I already hit the limit of $37,740 but my salary continue to contribute to the 3 accounts, then when do they refund the excesses? Every month from July onwards or they wait until Jan 2022 then refund 1 lumpsum to you?

Not Jan, but Feb 2022. They will also minus off the extra interest given at the end of Dec 2021.
