Hi,

My CO interviewed me regarding about me signing on as a regular, and he asked me this question:
*let’s use X as the current formation i’m in and Y as the formation im signing on*

Q. X is the formation who groomed you, and what makes you think that you can crossover to Y, and how/what can you contribute to Y?

If your CO ask you this question, how you gonna answer?

Please try not to flame me.. I may understand that i need to think through the values i had or believe in and really think about why i want to sign on “Y” and not “x”.

So any one of you can give suggestions how you gonna answer this?

My hardworking attitude and i’m able to self motivate myself to work and even beyond the task given to me, so if i cross over to Y Formation , i can give my very best to lead my troopers with motivation and inspire them to train hard because since i have the passion to join Y Formation , and i think Y Formation can provide the training i want.

Just say u believe all units teach the same fundamental values blah like leadership. X is what was assigned to me , which you learn a great deal of bs. Y is something u have always been interested in due to some ********. So you don't see any challenges in crossover but you are mindful of the unique culture and traits in each unit.

Firstly you need to have a clear answer in your mind on why you chose Y and not X.

It is just like corporate world - why you want to quit A and join B etc.
