I'm looking to get a new gaming rig and was looking at aftershock but they are taking abit long to get back and I wanna get my system up by mth end as I will be on one wk leave. :s13:

I roughly know the specs I want but I have never assembled a system on my own.

I see the shop PCtheme came up a lot in the forum. If I buy all the parts there will they assemble for me? Any shops in SLS/funan where I can buy all the parts and assemble on the spot? (No need to go 2 times)

Just head to PC Themes and find YiLong. They are one of the most reputable shop in sls. Get all your parts there and pay a little to assemble.

Go at 11am and they may be able to finish within the same day.

Unless u wanna be an ass by going at 7pm and asking them to finish by 8pm...

Thanks all!

I'm looking through their pricelist and this is the config im looking at.

MB and CPU: Intel i5-6500 3.2GHZ + MSI B1501 Gaming pro bundle $463
GPU: MSI GTX970 $599
Storage: M.2 Samsung Evo 850 500GB SSD $259
RAM: CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 2400MHZ CL14 ( 8GBx2pcs ) $189
Power supply: SILVERSTONE SFX 500W GOLD $145
Casing: Silverstone Raven RVX02 $145
Total price: $1800

Comments?

I'll be using this setup as a media center, linked via HDMI to my TV set for gaming and watching videos. Most of my video files and music are on my NAS so I dont need additonal HDD for this, just install the games i'm playing and the OS for faster bootup and loading.

Am i missing out anything?
