Used to keep all the various currencies at home after travel.
After awhile, realised it's not very smart as countries sometimes change their notes thus making the ones i have obsolete overnight.

Have deposited most in the various multi-currencies account but just can't seem to find any accounts that accepts ringgits...

Any advise on where i can deposit ringgits in Singapore ?

Yeah, I’m going to guess that’s because of the currency controls on the ringgit. You probably won’t find one.

One of the Malaysian banks (Maybank or CIMB) might be able to help you out, but if you’re just talking about holiday-money amounts then just go to Change Alley and swap them back to Singapore dollars.

No need to think so much. Just get rid of a depreciating currency. If using near in future then why bother where to park unless the sum is large. If large just go over to JB and open an account.

huh? i assume that those leftover RM from your holidays in MY and you might just leave it as it is but I would have change it back to SGD if it is more than a few Ks ASAP. RM is worthless to keep, just like IDR.

Simply go to money changers to exchange M$ to S$. The rate quoted by them is fair rate for the day. The rate from one money changer to another is negligible - usually the last 2 of 4 decimal places. If want slightly higher than money changer's rate, sell them all to me :s13:
