Where can I get it unlocked so that I can use the local sim card ?

If usa I hope u got from the right carrier to use it in sg as the lte band are diff for each phone. (3 types of chipset for iphone6/6plus)

Officially, unlocked service to be done by Telco - How to unlock your iPhone for use with another carrier - Apple Support

However none of the Telco in SG offers unlocking service as per the above article.

You may need to seek 3rd party unlock solutions. Some websites provides such service at a cost however they don't guarantee it will always work and not forgetting scam websites who's only out to get your money.

1 - call up your telco first to check if they can unlock the phone for you(if you have a contract with them, this shouldn't be that hard)
2 - if they say no, then you need to source out 3rd party unlocking service.
