if its private property, they can set their own rule. if public area, not sure if they are authorised to do that

Even if I smoke beside the sign and got caught in the CCTV... how they know who I am... I could just be walking past... not any registered visitor...

Will they waste resource to trace hundreds of hours of CCTV footage to see where I come from and where I go etc to determine who I am? Not as though I lied in Parliament and the authority want to fix me?

Unless they use facial recognition and access ICA database to track down the person... how exactly are they going to pursue the person...

Of coz if they want to... they can... but the thing is whether is it justified to use such extensive resources to catch 1 person smoking... if that person is CSJ or LMW or LT... yah maybe...

kumgong sign board.

where is the "zone" (from where to where) if not marked ?
Meaning property line is the zone.

So when security guard comes over and asked smokers to move away or put out, they cannot argue like what u just did.
