Hi I applied Nov sale of balance, now got a queue number. I am currently living in a resale HDB, so which date shall I use to check whether I am going to meet the MOP requirement? "Probable Completion Date" or "Delivery Possession Date"?

MOP = Min Occupation Period..

MOP is look at the date u take possession of the unit if u're asking about the current resale which you have..5 years MOP for flats with or without CPF Housing Grant if purchase on or after 30th Aug 2010..

For more info, click on the link below...

Thanks. I didn't take the CPF grant for my current resale. Say I took key for my current resale on Dec 2011, and I have 5 years MOP. The new HDB I am looking at has "Delivery Possession Date" of July 2017, by which time I would have fulfilled my MOP. However, it also states "Probable Completion Date" of 3Q 2016, which is about 2 months before my MOP due date. So am I allowed to take this HDB?

Last time I asked HDB, they told me: just apply, if they allow you to apply, it means you will fulfill MOP for that project. But he was answering my BTO question, now this is sale of balance, with mixed projects, and I got a very good queue position (1st), now wondering whether I will be allowed to select this HDB...

Basically i would say good luck.

Usually is look at PCD which will change as the construction progresses, it's well know to be around 3-6 months earlier...DPD is the deadline which HDB has sign in agreement with you that the flat would be delivered.

Opps... Too bad, especially given that i am number 1 in the queue... I think there were more than 200 people applying for the 7 units...

it counts from the day of taking procession of keys. You will only be able to submit resale transaction (for selling) from T+5years.
