I feel that such instances may be very limited, considering how huat buyers are these days. Not to forget that various controls in place these days to ensure that buyers are not overstretched with their finances.

Unlikely to have fire sale. But I think places like EoK will end up becoming Singapore's largest community of real estate agents :ROFLMAO: .

Actually tdsr force buyers to put down more downpayment and left with little cash to tide thru bad times?

No much feel for EOK (no view), GD (no facilities), TG (mcsp) and TC (I know many ppl in this forum have, so better don’t stay there lol).

Parc Oasis is 30 years old condo (TOP in 1995). Location is good though (near to Chinese Garden MRT) and it is said the rental is not bad.

Westworld Residence is only 8 years old (TOP in 2017). But it is an EC and location can not be compared with Parc Oasis.

On the other hand, I was thinking the J Gateway launch back in 2013 was very high at S$1500 psf or higher, for OCR condos, even with the good location at Jurong East.

But recent launches show that S$2000+ psf becomes the new baseline for new condo launch in District 22 (supposed to be the lower tier of OCR).

I think there is going to be discounts soon for new launch condos. Saw this report that there is an oversupply of about 1000 new launch apartments unsold last quarter!
