How come I feel very sad when I sold my shares (for a tiny profit) then the share price keep rocketing everyday and everyday I have the urge to FOMO and buy back higher?
The level of sadness is even worse than I go chase high then I kana stuck for a long time...

How come har? Is it becos kana stuck liao so resign to it liao but FOMO feeling is a type of strong urge? Why har?

How to get out of this loop?

Big money comes from HODL, you cannot make big money if keep selling before it grows multiple times.

Once you sell, don’t look back or regret

buy only if you still have the conviction even though the buy price going to be higher than your previous sell price

buy no scared; scared no buy

Not bragging. I sold some of my propnex shares at 2.40. And it went even higher. Good thing is the existing shares are now held at nearly no cost, free.

if u never study the stock financials, aka pe, pb, earnings etc... debts, operating expenses, cash on hand and competitors, market analysis.. then you are gambling.

Investment or trading cannot have feeling.

Feeling have high tendency to misjudge.

come i teach u .
hit 1 to 3 RRR liao.
risk 1000.
then if profit is 3000.
then divide that 3000 into number of shares of that company. eg brkb 500, 3000 /500 u get 6 shares.
leave it in ur account.
that shares is now pure profit.
up or down u also no feel . use this method just build ur own etf.

how u make it 1 to 3 RRR is your own research liao.

our school system is f up, nv teach ppl to invest n learn RRR. only teach us to be workers.

of cos u dun do this for penny stocks hor.

I give u the solution. Have a margin u want when u buy the stock. If already made, reached ur target price, u sell. If u hesitate to sell all, then sell half and keep half.

When feel FOMO, please rem your original plan. Be disciplined and stick to the plan. If like that every trade u do is profit.. then u will always getting richer

the latter is worse

you sell and share price sky rocket
mean you still sell at a profit, just that you make lesser profit but still a profit

you buy at high and price deep dive,
you are at a loss, even though its on paper but still a loss
so unless the price go back up , you are stuck holding the bag

Aiyo, this one every investor's nightmare lor. For me, sell liao then rocket is more painful. Like watching your ex strike Toto. Regret sia. The other one, buy high then drop, at least you know you're not alone. Whole market probably also red. Can jiak coffee and wait together. How to stop? Just tell yourself: "Market always have chance one. No need chase." Miss this one, still got next. Better than stuck and panic.
