I've been looking at these 2 models for gaming...
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01578ZK9A
ASUS ROG GL752VW-DH71 US$1,029
- Intel Skylake Core i7-6700HQ (2.6GHz - 3.5GHz) Processor
- 17.3" Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS Matte LED Display
- 16GB (8GB x 2) DDR4 2133MHz Memory
- 1TB 7200RPM Hard Drive
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M 2GB GDDR5
- DVD Super Multi Drive
I like this model because Skylake processor, DDR4 RAM, lower price.

MSI GE72 APACHE PRO-242 US1,199
- Intel Broadwell Core i7-5700HQ (2.7GHz - 3.5GHz) 14nm Processor
- 17.3" Full HD (1920 x 1080) eDP Wide View Angle Display
- 16GB DDR3 1600MHz Memory
- 1TB 7200RPM Hard Drive
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M 3GB GDDR5
- DVD Super Multi Drive
I like this model because it's 970M but it's slightly more expensive and older chip and RAM.
Both ships direct to SG by Amazon and both have 1 year international warranty. I intend to purchase an additional m.2 SDD to use as boot drive regardless of which model I get.
EDIT: Oh. When I say gaming, I don't mean the latest games. I'm like really behind on my games and generally only buy from Steam when they are like $5.
