currently upgrading my rig (i5 750 + p55a-ud3)

thinking of getting i7 3770k + Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H or i5 3570k + Asus P8H77m

total price difference is $70-100 (buying from cpu bazaar). The i7 is slightly higher priced.

which one should i get?

intend to overclock and read that h77m cannot do voltage modification and sli / crossfire (iirc). currently clocking my i5 750 at stock voltage and dont know if i will ever modify voltages.

should i pay the extra for the z77x +i7 3770k or go with the cheaper h77m + i5 3570k?

any advices will be appreciated thanks!

consider haswell? there is internal vrm control in the haswell chip itself (Intel's FIVR, Fully Integrated Voltage Regulator), for better power regulation.....

h boards dun have official OC support, get z boards if you wanna play safe....

get CPU cooler? h100i? noctua cpu cooler?

asus 24 phase digi+?
