Which one? X1C8 or T14s

Laptop is for general uni student use and some coding apps with little to no gaming. The X1C8 is through school vendor hence the price. Requirements that i need are 16gb, atleast i5 or Ryzen 5 and Windows OS. Hopefully this purchase will last me beyond uni years.

Im open to try other brands also but im closing down on these 2 Thinkpads. I

Get the X1 from your school's vendor.

I would've bought from the X1 from my school as well, but the 16GB limit is the roadblock for me.

Using the new code has brought down the T14s to 1510. The price difference is quite significant.

Also what are the pros of X1C over the T14s. I'm leaning towards T14s due to its price.

Smaller footprint, lighter weight, higher tier warranty, better colours, free battery replacement at 3rd year ($80-$120 value)

The advantage the T14s is the option to have touchscreen.
