hoping that it will go higher in future then can sell for more money?

Who the heck will use SGD $100 to buy your SG50 notes?

just saw it in my cupboard that day then I was thinking, this one keep 100 years also no increase in value. it's like every household has at least 1 set. :s22:

That's why i already spent it. lol.
I find it useless to keep them.

There won't be any value in our lifetime.

no point if u think can 'sell' in the future

u go look at those 1980s note ....... at most 1 fella buy from u and he will only pay like 10-20% above the value
... if u hold a few pieces u will have hard time selling
might as well put in fixed deposit or cpf rather than having a hard time finding a carrot head buyer

i told my mum no point keeping it like treasure , there are too many boxed set in circulation , iirc news said 100k? the notes itself more pieces than population 5mil ...... then she gave it away
