Just nice passed the mrt gantry while otw to friend's house to spend the night with other friends playing vid games. Saw the staff in control room shaking hands and looking happy, probably because everything went well and system didnt succumb to y2k bug

Parked my car at the street parking along Tanjong Pagar mrt where Guoco Tower is now. Then took a train down to Orchard.

After countdown, went for supper, then to the reclaim land at Changi East to watch the 1st sunrise of the new century.
