Who Still Using HDD?

Just bought a Toshiba 2TB 7200 HDD last week as I was almost filling up 1TB storage drive...

Always go both. I have both SSD and HDD. SSD is only for applications, games and OS (1 TB is barely enough for my games). HDD is for the rest of your junk (movies, porn, music, downloads, etc.). For backup, just use cloud, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive. My games are backed up by Steam, music is backed up on Google Music. Oh you wanna backup your movies?

how do you separate the installation between SSD and HDD, sometimes I set to install on one drive but sure some files gone into another drive~

My laptop still using hdd but using WD black version, bootup quite fast less than 1 min mostly around 40s. Have disable those not require to boot in startup using glary utilities.

I guess laptop harder to swap to SSD, even if can fit in ssd, the sdd will be dangling in the bigger space~

mine the RMA ones from MIC after using 1 year start to have bad sectors after exchanging from Made in Thailand ones...

dont store much data in there and backup it once every few weeks
