MO have the last say to decide how long your MC is to last. no 2nd question about it. But of course, like reddevil says, the MO must have the balls.
IMO, the MMI MO still respect the Hospital MC. But he is slowly monitoring your condition by shortening it to 3 weeks first. Then end of 3 weeks, he will see your condition and extend it accordingly.
