Why am I getting this screen even with a usb boot disc?

means ur boot priority not correct, need to set usb before ur (apparently empty) drive. can set priority in bios, or select the usb drive to boot directly in bios or boot menu.

I did

number 1 is usb

number 2 then the sata drive

+ = go up( (higher priority)

Cos tried other usb slots liao and also distinguished the usb itself is working fine

maybe you didn't make the usb drive boot files properly
or try some function key to list the boot drives

Did you try loading up windows and see if the drive can be detected during install?

You have to create a USB Windows bootable ISO to install Windows on the blank SSD.
That is first step, next is to boot from the USB device to install Windows.
Some motherboard may need to manually boot so depending on the brand.

MSI and Asrock is F11, Gigabyte is F12, ASUS is F8.
Branded PC wise boot menu depends on brand, HP will be more complicated to access.
Take note sometimes USB may not boot as either the drive is partition wrongly.

Or the WIndows USB installer is corrupted.
If you want to save all the headache bring to a shop let them do for you.

Try set drive 1 to usb uefi, other drives disable it. So that bios will only read from usb

is your usb boot drive done properly? you plug to other computer can boot the usb windows installer?
