Cause distributor haven't settle date la with the theaters.
Sometimes a movie focus release in China first and dun have marketing materials for overseas yet or overseas distributor wants more time to market the film.

Like last time wandering earth 2; SG distributor is Shaw and no time to market just like that release in cinema; cause China side also last min date for CNY.

Nezha 2 is a great film (you go see Maoyan and douban reviews) I am sure the budget for distribution rights is expensive, they wanna slowly market loh and maybe release end Feb or early March.
Even US, Aus only release in mid Feb

New movie no wonder keep seeing shorts about Ne Zha
it is the highest grossing film in a single market. Beat star wars episode 7.

go see the 豆瓣and 猫眼reviews, potentially the best ever animation from China.
the first one was alr very good.

i am a fan of nezha movie

this part 2 i am looking forward.

to me, its an animation that jus delivers simply in story and art.
no need any oscar level deep plot.
Simply entertain and deliver

Anyway many of Hollywood cartoons don't have Oscar level deep plot
The big ones like Inside Out 2 and Despicable Me 4 , both made tons of money have very superficial plots

Well I saw it for a short while on Netflix... not really my type of animated movies... my type is more GANTZ:0 if I had to watch a 3D animated movie.
so u is more into 3d for near realism rendering
i is ok.... like i feel advent chewren ok.

nezha rendering is still cartoonish with manhua elements.
very manhua would be like storm riders clash of evils.

edit: manhua not manhwa

I think the Nezha I saw is Nezha Reborn seems like a totally different movie I think lol... I mean I can occasionally watch some like Minions, Shrek or Frozen lar... but usually not my first choice..

I usually follow up on Anime instead... like I just watch latest episode of Solo Leveling.. really awesome season 2... no down time just full on fighting all the way.
